To achieve this, 3rd party audits are being conducted in all plants.
Social Accountability Policy
Middle East Glass Manufacturing Company (MEG) & its Affiliates shall abide by all national laws, international agreements and other requirements as well as the principles laid down in the Social Accountability 8000 Standard. MEG & its Affiliates shall continually improve their processes, skills level and satisfaction of all their employees and the overall performance of the organization. MEG & its Affiliates are committed to providing a safe and healthy work environment for all employees within the company and company controlled premises. MEG & its Affiliates shall ensure that this policy is effectively communicated to all interested parties as necessary. MEG & its Affiliates shall endeavor to ensure that all workers are over the age of 18. However MEG provides internship training programs for undergraduates. MEG & its Affiliates shall review this policy regularly in order to continually improve, taking into consideration changes in legislation, in our own code of conduct requirements, and any other requirements. MEG & its Affiliates shall make this policy publicly available in an effective form and manner to interested parties, upon request.
